Biscuits gathered so many supporters and followers as she went through the trauma of diagnosis and bravely endured attempts at a cure. Her Mumsnet army can post their condolences here. It may serve as a comfort to her family to know how much she was admired and loved.

On Biscuits' last thread, Kundry kindly posted a link to a donation page set up in her memory, for those who wish to respect her request to donate to multiple causes close to her heart, rather than send flowers. Oxfam (training doctors and midwives in the 3rd World), a book reading prize for the school her DSs attend, and Leukemia and Lymphoma research to help banish this disease from future generations. RIP Biscuits Thanks

Deepest sympathies to Mr Biscuits and her three little crumbs. I didn't post on her threads but followed her story. What a terrible loss for her family. Such a young person who had so much to live for and who loved her family so much . Life seems so unfair sometimes. Also I would like to give my sympathies to her parents and any siblings. R.I.P. Biscuits.

How awful - I have followed Biscuits' posts since the beginning. When she stopped posting I was worried that she must be gravely ill.

Wishing for strength for her husband and children.

I am so so sorry to read about Biscuits Sad
I only recently 'met' Biscuits, my Mum was diagnosed with AML in August & I turned to Mumsnet in despair, Biscuits was one of the first people on that thread, holding my hand through DM's diagnosis & the beginning of treatment. Giving advice & invaluable support despite being so poorly herself.

I cannot thank her enough.

I feel heart broken for her DH, DC, family & friends & I send them love & condolences.

I want you to know how utterly kind, amazing, inspirational, warm & how much she loved she was here.

I will never forget her Thanks
Xx

Dear Biscuits-a lovely, inspirational, intelligent and chatty lady who had to suffer so much. I followed her story and am so sorry she did not make it.

Thinking of Biscuit's DH and wishing him strength to cope with his loss, and
the lovely mini biscuits -their Mummy will continue to live on through them.

RIP Biscuits x

Rest in peace Biscuits, or Theresa as we now know.

To her family, my deepest sympathies. Life is very cruel and there is no justice in this. My best wishes for your future, and I hope you find comfort.

Xx

You don't have to be under 30 to sign up as a bone marrow donor. If you give blood, they can add you to their register up to age 50. It's just an extra form next time you go along, plus one extra vial when they draw off the testing vials.

biscuits was hugely grateful to her donor.

jelabi · 29/11/2014 16:15

Such sad news, my thoughts are with her lovely family.
RIP Biscuits Flowers

How absolutely awful.

My thoughts are with everyone who had the love of Biscuit and who loved her in return.

Listmaker · 29/11/2014 17:42

So so sad to read this news today. Biscuits seemed such a lovely lady. So sorry for all who knew and loved her especially her husband and children. What a cruel thing to happen.

Corriewatcher · 29/11/2014 18:32

I'm absolutely gutted to read this news. I posted on Biscuits 3rd thread in September as I'd just been diagnosed with AML and was literally shaking with fear. We had several exchanges of email which really helped to make me more positive, and we discovered that we lived quite close to each other. I thought that one day we might get to meet up under more pleasant circumstances.

My heart goes out to Biscuits' family. I'll never forget her invaluable help.

I'd encourage as many people as possible to consider being a bone marrow donor. A transplant is absolutely vital for many people with leukaemia.

RIP Biscuits Flowers

I am so very sad to hear this news. Like many of you i was touched by her courage great sense of humour and her love for her family. She was the same age and in the same job and a mum who loved her family. A pretty special lady.

Biscuits phoned me full of joy the first time we spoke so excited to have just heard from her team that she was in remission. She was scared too and desperate to fight to have more time with her family.
I know she appreciated Mumsnet as a space to speak freely and I was pleased that she asked me to visit when she came over to the transplant centre. Very sadly I had a horrible cold and so stayed away following her transplant. I never met her face to face but I visited as promised last week bearing jammy dodgers and jaffa cakes after careful consideration Grin. She wasn't well enough for a visitor or biscuits but I left a note sending love from her mumsnetter friends. I heard her tell her nurse to say thanks. She knew that we were all thinking of her and sending love and good wishes to the Biscuits and crumbs.

JammyGeorge · 29/11/2014 19:38

I am so sad and so sorry to read this. I followed Biscuits story with hope and enjoyed her very eloquent posts and her gutsy determination. So unfair. Be strong Mr Biscuits and the Crumbs, she truly loved you all, you could tell.
