Onwards and Upwards: Staying stale in the teacup of life

This is my 3rd thread as I go from a shock diagnosis of leukaemia towards what will hopefully be a cure.

Life is shit but I am strong and there will be happy times again.

Biscuits, not a day goes past where you don't pop into my head, keep going, every day is a day closer to coming home to the biscuit tin!

My orchid came out with a new little flower today, made me think of you.

DS has just come in from a Christmas fete with a knitted blob creature that puts me in mind of your wooly neutrophils biscuits. I am haranguing encouraging it on your behalf. Hopefully intent counts for more than detailled medical knowledge

(Can anyone confirm that it is multiplying neutrophils that we need?)

That biscuits needs and we should be cheering/praying/nagging for, I mean.

Yes! We need those Neutrophils (sp?) to keep multiplying. No medical knowledge but my Mum has AML too

In that case, I will positively visualise multiplying knitted neutrophils for biscuits and your Mum Northumberland

Biscuits gave me invaluable support & advice when my Mum was diagnosed a few months ago. Taking the time, even though she was so ill too. I think of her often x
