Anyone's arthritis playing up with the season change?

Hi all
I have spondyloarthritis (an inflammatory arthritis) and am really struggling at the mo. I haven't been too well so could be getting over that too but I am knackered. My right foot puffs up with it and I haven't had that since the winter and suddenly it's back. I literally want to sleep for a week. :-(
Any advice/moral support/etc?

X

If its hands that bother people you can buy those disposable hand warmers in bulk from amazon.

Oh god yes. My psoriatic arthritis has flared ridiculously... I'm off to the sun in a couple of weeks and it can't come quickly enough.

I can definitely relate to not really telling people when it gets bad. Is it the stuff upper lip issue? I tend to feel that if people know they start treating you differently. It's normally quite invisible so you can kind of just get on with it, grin and bear the pain whilst throwing painkillers down your throats. Good friends tend to notice.

I was diagnosed with RA in January and am really suffering at the moment - they switched my MTX to injectable but it hasn't really made much of a difference.

I thought I'd turned a corner a few weeks ago but now I'm so tired, very achey and must be run down as I've got mouth ulcers, headaches, thrush and athlete's foot. I'm not normally this bad! I hadn't thought that it might be related to the weather, the hot weather didn't seem to improve my symptoms and it's still very mild here.

Mrgereshamster - very jealous of your holiday , I find the heat makes such a difference ! Maybe I should look into emigrating to the south of France :) . Thank god for painkillers though !
