Blue badge during chemo?

My mum has cancer. Primary breast, spread to her lung and liver. She's finding it ever so tiring using the tube for hospital visits and starts chemo today. Are we entitled to get a blue badge for my sister's car so she can take her?

TIA

Yes, we did the same for my mum, think I got the forms from the hospital social work dept and we were given a temporary pass until it came through. Its not for your sisters car its for your mum who can use it in any car she is in. Mum carries hers in her handbag and pops it on the dashboard when we park. Hope your mums okay op, its a hard time for you all. Sending goodwill wishes here from everyone at BabsAndTheRu.
