what the hell could this be?

My dh has had numbness in left arm and both hands, pins and needles, pain etc. He was originally diagnosed with cervical radioculopathy (trapped nerve/slipped disc) about 10 weeks ago. On Tues night he could barely move his legs and feet so went to a and e.
He only got discharged last nigh after numerous tests, MRI scans etc. All clear so far and not cervical radioculopathy. The neurologist is going to do some further nerve tests but does not know What's wrong.
We are unsure of exactly what they have tested for so unsure if they have tested for things like ms!

Does anyone have a similar experience or opinions, we are so worried and now have to wait as an outpatient for further tests so long wait waits coming.

Forgot to say he gets a lot of loss of movement and power in limbs and this changes and moves around daily.

Yes it could be MS but then it could be lots of things no doubt, I am not a doctor. If the MRI scans were of brain and spinal column and were clear that is VERY GOOD news for NOT being MS I would have thought. My tests were MRI of above, various other ECG tests.

Sounds similar to when dh started with psoriatic arthritis, no positive test for it rather they just rule other things out.

Y difficult to diagnose, it could be one of 50 conditions, I don t think we should be trying to figure it out on a laypersons forum. Good luck and I hope It is nothing serious.
