anyone know how to read an ECG?

I've just had one done but the the nurse who did it cannot tell me anything. I have to wait until tomorrow to see the Dr.

I'm getting anxious as the way she said it sounded like there was something on there that shouldn't be. plus she said next time I see you it'll be with urge daughter (we were talking about .mt daughter earlier). or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

anyway I'm getting myself all worked up here :(

I'm a paramedic so know how to read ECGs. In my experience, a lot of practice nurses are not trained to read them? So she was probably being totally honest .... But you wouldn't be human if you didn't worry! Anything serious would've (should've!!) been picked up ASAP x

I second above. I work in icu most practice nurses will just read the comments printed on the ECG by the machine. Often inaccurate of irrelevant comments. Or comments which reflect poor lead placement.
