I am visiting a care home tomorrow to see if it is suitable for FIL.
Does anyone have any advice on what to look for/questions to ask?

Hi.
I'm sorry I've only just seen your post. How did you get on?

I work for a care home which is part of the biggest care organisation in England (on maternity leave at the mo).

Unfortunately there isn't much you can look for as I've done several mystery shops and I know that people can say anything if they want to sell a room.

Things you can look for is the cleanliness and smell of the home, how the staff respond to challenging situations etc
