I want to start a lesbian mothers group in North London...any takers???

I'm a lesbian single mother who would love to meet other gay mums as i thinjk this will be good for me and my kids...i'm friends with three other gay mums-but they live in south london so its hard getting together. If anyone's interested let me know...

Hi everyone.

It was a very successful meet up on Sunday.

5 couples with their dc's& one pregnant lady (good luck for rest of your pg&birh etc...).

We braved the British summer weather, which turned out hot & sunny after we got slightly soaked & will never forget the funny thing we heard from one mum: "get your face out of that puddle" ...

Thanks to those who turned up & hope to see you all again soon& any others who'd like to join us.

Did you meet up the group?

This group sounds like a great idea. We're only 9 weeks pregnant but, having read some NCT and NHS Antenatal class horror stories, we're already very up for joining you. Tufnell Park is home and Hampstead Heath is our usual park outing. This may be me making a terribly stereotypical assumption, but the groups of yummy mummys skipping around the heath do mainly look like they're heading home to their menfolk. Would be great to be able to do this with a group where we don't have to come out every time we meet new people. We'll keep an eye out for details of the September outing.

I'm really happy to hear about the new pregnancies. You are all more than welcome to Join us when we met next. It was our first meet up but hoping it'll be the first of many...

I am a Developmental Psychology student currently pursuing a Masters of Science at University College London. For my research project we have to observe a new born infant to see any developmental changes such as movements and sleep patterns, milestones etc. I identify as a lesbian woman and would love to observe two mothers with their child. Oh dear, I seem to have lost my message I typed earlier...
I would like to know whether this group still meets up. I came to the very first meetup back in August in Friary park when I was still pregnant.
I have been in hibernation for a long while, as I had complications in my pregnancy from 7 months. But our precious baby son is now with us and is 11 weeks old and healthy!
I would love to come to the next meetup.

Hi Herbies, well our son is still tiny (12 weeks tomorrow), but I'd be keen for a meet-up. It would be good to meet other couples in North London. We're in Muswell Hill.
