Hi - sorry I have not got any advice, just wanted to suggest you post in the Lone Parents section and/or the parenting as you may get more answers (both busier sections of the board). If you put a bit more info in your post as well people will be more likely to reply

have a look at donor conception network site. They have leaflets and books about this very thing. Their books for kids are designed for every possible situation so I am sure there is one that will explain your family to your kids in good language. (We talk about 'special man who we will never meet')
