Hello everyone I’m looking for a bit of advice so myself and my husband have two adopted children 12 and 13 both are at different special education schools. The youngest was at a main stream school but kept getting suspended.
He has now been at a therapeutic school. Yesterday he got suspended for hitting a teacher and slamming another one’s hand in a door while swearing at them
Nither of us know what to do or where to turn for help. I get it’s not safe for any one having him in school but we don’t know what we can do to change how he is.
Monday he got in trouble for chasing some females round with a stick saying he’s going to shove it up them.
He’s never like that at home he’s never exposed to anything like swearing or what he said he’s going to do to them.
any advice would be really appreciated.

Speak to your post adoption service to see what trauma related support he can have. Therapy is usually available from the Adoption Support Fund
