hey! first time posting on here but i definitely feel like mine and my partner’s family are getting sick of hearing me talk about babies and our journey lol.

in approximately 7.5hrs from time of posting this, my partner and i have our initial consultation with a fertility specialist to discuss our journey and next steps!! AHHHHH, how am i supposed to go to sleep?! im too excited!

so far, all my blood tests and scans have come back perfect which has been a huge weight off our shoulders (im carrying). we’re hoping to try IUI first!

any other same sex couples at the same stage as us? honestly i love hearing about others experiences and would love to create a cute lil support network here!!

I have recently gone through egg retrieval process and my partner will carry, we currently have frozen embryos ready to go for our timeline for next year!

Best of luck! DD is 8 months and currently asleep on me. We did IVF after some unsuccessful IUIs and were incredibly lucky it worked first time, we have 3 in the freezer. Be kind to yourself and each other, try to take it one step at a time and keep talking- it’s a hell of a ride.
