Travel before starting IUI

Hi all,
my partner and I were planning on traveling from the UK to Africa and going on safari for a week, before starting our IUI journey later in the month. However I’m now worrying that maybe it’s a bad idea to do a big trip and could throw off my chances of getting pregnant once we get back..

any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated!

Well you'll have to declare that you've not been to Zika areas and I'd trt not to get malaria but other than that just enjoy it!

My concerns would be anti-malarial and zika. We had to wait to ttc after our honeymoon because it was in a malarial area and the drugs we had taken were contraindicated for pregnancy.

Sorry I forgot to add- we will only be going to a malaria free reserve if we do go :)
