Moving area - Huddersfield

Hello, I’m hoping someone might be able to help me. We’re looking at moving and have seen a house in Cowlersley Huddersfield but I am not too sure about the area and know nothing about it? Is it a nice area, are there any LGBT groups in the area? Really keen to hear any advice you may have.

Hi! We live in nearby Linthwaite and have an 8 month old. I’d recommend Slaithwaite or Marsden if you can afford it (we couldn’t!). We have a small social group of other LGBT parents. We haven’t had any issues with being an LGBT family and overall the outskirts of Huddersfield are a lovely place to live.
