I am processing of divorcing my ex wife divorce is at conditional order. She is now stalling at this point, as she was the sole divorce applicant this is now stuck.

Time has elapsed and I'm looking to seek fertility treatment with my new partner.

Can I choose my new partner as the second parent (both female) or will the legal marriage override this. I've tried reading online but can't find a clear answer!

For your new partner to be recognised as the second parent, you'll need to have treatment at a registered fertility clinic who will provide all the relevant paperwork for you. I think that your existing wife wouldn't be considered a parent unless she had consented to the treatment, but either way you should be able to find out exactly who needs to sign what by discussing it with the clinic.
