Hello, my fiancé and I are looking to try for a baby, but trying to get information on this seems to be harder than expected. We’re aware there are clinics that help this but with some of the prices of this it seems somewhat unreasonable, therefore we were wondering if anyone knows any groups or pages that are out there that can give us more information? We are Scotland based. Thanks for any help at all :)

Perhaps you have located your information...however if not fear not.

If time is not an issue and you meet the criteria then I would recommend the NHS route. You need to get your Dr to refer you, pre covid it was a year waiting list but unsure what that is now. You can get 6 funded IUI cycles on the NHS failing that 2 IVF cycles.

There aren't loads of clinics around in Scotland and it really is a weigh up on age, BMI and a whole lot of luck! Note - you can self fund for IVF on the NHS too which is a little cheaper than the private clinics.

Good luck on your journey.
