I'm just asking to know. My son's made some comments recently and I just want to know if it's something to prepare for x

Hi there. I am a 44 year old lady and I always knew I was different to others. Think I knew from a very young age

I read somewhere that boys come out (to someone, not to everyone) on average in their early teens, and girls in their late teens. I assume that has a lot to do with the ways people are conditioned to respond.

I think I was figuring it out around 13 or so, and came out when I was 14/15, but then I got so much negative response I ended up in the closet well into adulthood.

My daughter has come out as a lesbian aged 13, but she was hinting for a while.
I myself am slowly coming out of the closet too, I have always been very very attracted to women, and crushes on girls since I was about 12. I also fancied a few boys, but not so many. Let your child do it in their own time, have easy conversations about all sorts of people and lifestyles so he gets the vibe you have are positive towards the gay community.
