Hello

I’ve got what I think is a really common story for women. I had mixed feelings about women when younger and acted on them but eventually got swept up, got married and had children. The marriage failed (zero interest in husband for sex was a big issue) while having intense emotional relationships with women.

Fast forward a few years and I realised that it would never get better as I liked women more than men. Okay. Happy with my choices, got divorced and starting again. And now I have children to parent which is fine, but from a parenting perspective it feels lonely, as if you are different. Does anyone know of any support groups or social things in SE London for parents like me? I do a lot of boring stuff re parenting but sometimes it would be good to cut loose with people in the same situation!

Not in London, but similar situation.
Join the group Lesbian Social Club on FB...UK based group with women (indeed single, lesbian mothers too) and it's a great way of finding new friends. Apps like Mush and Bumble are good too

Hey LexMitior I'm also not in London but similar situation. Are you and your ex on good terms and co-parenting?
