This post may cause a stir

My girlfriend and I have been together 5 years, I have a son from a previous relationship but he has no contact with his Father.

It's Mother's Day so I put up a little post from me saying 'Happy Mother's Day' to us and a few pictures of us all together

But and this my sound really petty
I have no card or no present - not bothered by the present but card ..... I don't understand.

Friends of mine who have children the step parent would make arrangements to go out and get a card or something for Mother's Day ...... why?

I am abit miffed and I am abit upset about it all.

Don’t worry about it. You’d probably just put the card in the bin. You should worry about spending time with your DS and GF than materialistic values. No offense.

Okay
You are totally right
We are now married
She is the perfect step parent and I couldn't ask for more

Thanks again
