So myself and my girlfriend of 12 years decided last year we wanted to start a family. We used a known donor who has no contact with my son. He is now 7 months old, as we are not married my partner must now adopt our son. We have got a phone call this morning to attend a meeting with a social worker to discuss this on 31st October. I’m just worried that they can say no?! Then what happens? Has anyone been through similar and could provide me with some advice on what to expect from this meeting and the process itself
