DW and I are in the process of saving to have our first little one. We have a big holiday planned next year to visit my brother in Australia but would like to be pregnant soon after that.
We’ve done research into Cryo and Prideangel for home insemination and it looks like the cheaper option by a mile, and my wife likes the idea of impregnating me herself!
We’ve also been to fertility clinic for an open day to find out more about IUI, definitely the more practical option and more likely to succeed but could be 10x more expensive which holds things up for longer.
From personal experiences what would you all suggest? What are the ins and outs to home insemination? We’re leaning towards Cryo as it’s more regulated, I don’t really understand how much to order etc? Does one order give us one straw (eg one try)?
Sorry for the 20 questions but it’s all a lot to take in. All of our friends are straight so have very little to go by!
