Anyone with trans parents?

My dad is going for the operation and im struggling :(

I don't but one of my best friends does. I know it's really hard and confusing. Do you have anyone you can talk to in real life? I think it's important to recognise that it's OK for you to have complicated feelings about this, and while you may want to be supportive of your dad, that doesn't make those feelings invalid.

I wish I could be more helpful. I know it's rough.

My mums partner has gone through full transition surgery; not quite the same situation as you though.

It is really hard however, you are allowed your feelings, whatever they are.

I found it to be something that made me question lots of things I'd taken for granted before.
