I'm in a long term lesbian relationship, with 2 children born during that time with help of a male friend. Our very good friends have struggled to conceive and reached end of the line with IVF. We parent kids who are not related to one partner genetically. What do others think about offering to be a surrogate (including my egg) to our friends? I don't want any more children, think I'm still fertile. We create such unique families anyway (biology or not) - I firmly believe parents are the people who love and bring you up, rather than who are genetically linked. Our kids would have a little brother or sister (they already have others as our friend went on to parent his own family too - we are very open they are siblings).
