Had my third round of egg collection today and we are overwhelmed - 24 eggs were collected.
We only had 6 in the first round, which if all were used unsuccessfully.
We then had 8 in the second round but only a few made it to freezing state, of which our beautiful DD was born.
We are over the moon with my response to the drugs and can't believe our luck. Patiently waiting to hear how many embryos we've got from this rather large batch of eggs!
Really excited at the prospect of being able to donate some embryos if we have excess as we donated in my first round and the recipient had a baby so we'd love to give her the chance of having a biological sibling if all works out.
Us two smiling mummies are off to bed for some well deserved rest, before we commence with some more injections tomorrow, post collection
