ADVICE NEEDED!

Hi there, I've stumbled across this site when trying to find some sort of reasoning for my confusion.

I am a young single mum from a hetrosexual relationship which has broken down; I am 'in the closet' if that is still what not being open is referred to? Very few LGBT friends and looking for some advice in what to do! If anyone can relate, or simply give me some positive feedback I would be extremely grateful!

I'm not quite sure, I guess? I don't feel like I'm ready to come out but I feel as though living a lie is taking its toll! I live in a somewhat reserved little town in the north west and meeting individuals with the same 'issues' as my self is almost impossible! :)

You needs to feel 100% comfortable with your sexuality before you can even think about coming out. This couldttake a few weeks, months or even years.
There are more people in your shoes than you can imagine :) have you looked at any lgbt groups in your area. There are also loads of online lgbt forums that do local meets.
When I was feeling alone and isolated in my thoughts and feelings about my sexuality, I became a member of a forum, met loads of online great friends in the same boat as me, and through meets arranged on the site made some into rl friends too.

It may not lead anywhere in the long run but I feel a lot less alone since discovering that there is another single lesbian with 200 metres of my house. I just wish I knew where!
