Any LGBT mums in the Berkshire area that would like to chat and meet up with other LGBT families?

Hi,

My partner and I have 3 wonderful children under 2 and would love for them to meet other LGBT families. It would be nice for my partner and I to meet some other like- minded mums who live in and around Berkshire and not feel so isolated and think we're the only 'gay family in the village'.

Please get in touch

Hi Dendrogirl, I think that's a really good idea. We would definitely be up for meeting others- let us know when the new group is set up.

Hi All,
Not sure if youre all still around but parents to be in Burnham. Only 8 weeks bit just had scan and all was good with heartbeat and good measurements. I noticed a few of you are in Maidenhead so just over the river from us. Did a group ever get started?

Hi Everyone, I'm Colette, mummy to our little boy Oscar. We also have our second monkey due in July 2017 (my wife is carrying this time) so we have an exciting few months ahead and would love to meet other two mummy families with similar interests in Berkshire. I haven’t been able to find many groups specifically aimed for same-sex parents so have created a new FB group and would love this to become a great network of support for us parents but also our kids as they grow olders.

FB Group Name: LGBT Families Berkshire

Hello ColetteOS,

Hope its OK to message on here. I just saw that you are expecting and I wanted to reach out as I am casting for a groundbreaking documentary series about the science behind babies development in their first year, and would love to hear from any parents due to give birth/recently given birth.

It combines ground-breaking scientific revelation with emotionally engaging stories. Each episode will be filmed using a combination of observational documentary and pioneering filming techniques using the newest visual technologies to show the miraculous first year of life as never seen before. Highly informative, the show will appeal to both to parents and a broader audience, interested in what makes us who we are.

Each episode in the series will outline a pivotal milestone in a baby’s life. For example, we are looking at developments such as sleep, sitting up, crawling and speaking. We are working with baby experts and scientists from top universities and institutions that will help us to underpin the content of the series.

If you would like to find out more, please do email [email protected] and one of the team will get in contact.

Many Thanks,
Raimy Little
