anyone know about planning permission?

Have a flat roof conservatory which is starting to fall down, wood is starting to rot and it is leaking.

I am thinking of having it rebuilt with a pitched roof would I need planning?

Unlikely unless your house is listed or in a conservation area or anything like that?

You may well need building regs approval though. I would suggest phoning your local council and speaking to someone in the planning department just to check. They can also talk you through the building regs process.

Building regs - only if over 30m2 in floor area or you make it open to rest of house
