Dance class invoice

DD1 has been attending afterschool Dance/drama school for a year now.She started off doing several classes but gave them up as i couldnt afford them.Last term i paid for 2classes,but have just received an invoice for this term(first one i have ever had) i usually have to keep asking or texting for class prices then send in a check.
This invoice is charging for 2 extra classes, one of which she gave up before Xmas. The other she told her Teacher she would not be continuing duing last Term(she has not taken the dance exams like the others in class) teacher agreed that it probably not worth doing it anymore.
This invoice has written at the bottom that a months written notice is required to stop classes!
Is it legal if i never knew and had only ever been given 1 invoice? Also i only paid for 2 classes last term as i was sent a text with amount owed on it.So surely they knew she was not doing 3 classes?
Im so annoyed. Can i just pay for the one class she is actually doing?

That should say a terms written notice.

Rather belated but - what are the terms of the contract you originally signed with the dance class?

Call them up and discuss it with them. If you do not have a copy of the contract/ terms and conditions ask to see the one you signed.

Confirm everything you discuss in writing afterwards.
