Hi,

also posted in lone parents topic but wondered if someone with legal knowledge could help me.

My exh pays me maintenance based on his last year's P60 as he works shifts and his wages fluctuate due to overtime etc. This was set via court order.

This month he has adjusted the payment and says that he is going to pay based on his previous month's pay slip therefore the payments for our daughter will vary monthly.

I'm not too sure whether to make an issue of this or not. My main problem being that I have to "trust" his figures rather.

Is it worth the row?

What does he mean by vary? £10 or £50 or £100......????

If it were to vary by small amounts then its not worth the row. But if it is larger amounts then it's worth sorting out mainly because you need to at least know how much you're getting each month. Not necessarily a row, but just some reassurance that payments won't drop below a certain amount.
