Vodafone, £35permonth NO PHONE ARGGHHHHH

I have a contract with vodafone, which is a 24 month contract for a Blackberry.

However, my phone is faulty, and in the first 3 months of the contract, I had my phone replaced 3 times with "reconditioned" ones.

Problem - none of these phones have been any better than the first, and I still have a faulty phone that turns itself off, and dies and takes ages to reboot itself.

They refuse to do any thing about it, even though I pay for the service I have to take my phone to a shop (an hour a way) and send it off for repair, however the phone has a standard blackberry fault and all the phones I have had have all had the same problem. So what is the point?

I cant change my contract til September 2011 - if I cancelled it now, I would pay a £470 fee.

Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee What do I do?

it does this 3 / 4 times a day - and takes up to an hour to reboot, which, I just get on with, however, im PG and yesterday needed to contact my DP urgently, and had no phone, had to use a phone in a shop

My blackberry doesn't do this. Could you go back to the shop and spurt out the sale of goods act to them, mutter something about fit for purpose and ask them to change it for a new one?

Consumer direct have far better advice then me though.

I had this problem with vodafone, ph had to be repaired three times and then the new ph had the same issues [switched off and on during calls] I refused to go for three more repairs and wanted my money back it took weeks .
I deal only with the store manager [he sold me the ph and the contract] and would not deal with call centre etc.
I just stood my ground and they eventually left me out of contract and am waiting on the cheque for the cash amount I paid for the ph.
Speak to Consumer direct it helps to be able to quote the trading standards etc and only deal with one person if possible and follow up every time they are late/do not get back to you at the agreed time.
Good luck hope you get it sorted
