DSS considered (with guarantor)

God I'm so sick of hearing this because I just cannot get a guarantor. I have offered to pay big deposits etc, they're not interested. They want an actual guarantor.

Does anyone know a way around this? I have a deposit and a month's rent all waiting but I cannot and never will be able to get a guarantor.

How do I find somewhere to live if nobody will accept "dss" with no guarantor?

have you contacted the local council and asked if they have a 'rent deposit scheme'? I believe that they can offer rent guarantees as well for people in exactly your situation.
get yourself on the council waiting list if you haven't already.
