Parking ticket

DH went to the shops last week and was issued a ticket, he got a ticket from the machine and put it on the dashboard. Apparently a ticket wasn't clearly displayed. I appealled and recieved a letter and a picture today which shows the car with the yellow ticket bag stuck on the windscreen, covering where the ticket would have been. I can't prove that DH had a ticket as it flew out of the window as he drove home, but surely the picture should have been taken before the yellow bag was stuck on the windscreen as we can't prove it was underneath it.

late reply, but hope you see this. if your dh can remember, just write in stating the location of the ticket machine he used, how much he put in the machine, how long it was for and the date and time of purchase. there will be records from the machine to confirm the details.

also id suggest you ask for all pictures taken. they usually, or at least are supposed to take ics of whole windscreen and windows. usually pic of ticket on car is to show that it was put under wiper and what's termed 'legally served'.

I have requested all pics taken, waiting to see if they reply though worried as a week has passed already... I have also asked for a pic of the front of the car as it was just the windscreen, and wasn't timed and dated ;)
