I have a female friend who has been assaulted on numerous occasions by an ex live in boyfriend. he has charged finally with assault and has a bail condition not to communicate with her directly or indirectly. He hooked up with her on facebook under a false name and now is emailing her under this alias. She knows who it is. He is convincing her to go to the crown to have charges withdrawn. She is trying now to do this. She is living with me now. I am male but we are just friends. Can I go to the police and/or crown to report this breach. He himself works for the attorney generals office in Toronto and I believe he will do whatever he can to have these charges removed. I am in a tough spot as she told me to stay out of it. Please reply to this with any advice or legal experience. I really need help quickly.

Isn't up to her to report the breach because she is the one who will need to give evidence. Also, if she is talking to him voluntarily.....Best to talk to her about the consequences of going back. You can only give her the options but she must decide.
