does anyone know what this will mean? not seen solicitor yet,but cafcass are recommending court goes this way

also 'letterbox' contact...is this just this...cards,letters....not phonecalls?

Can't help with your first part but yes letterbox contact is just that, letters.

ok thanks! i will try and get even letters stopped then...if he bothers!!

i want NO contact!

cafcass are supporting no direct,but were suggesting calls,til latest incident. now they say just letterbox

Hi, it's a provision under the Children Act allowing the court to restrict further applications by a person (usually a parent) by imposing a requirement that the person first obtain leave of the court to make any further applications.

Yes letterbox is exactly that, excluding phone contact.

It must be very serious if they're recommending no contact at all. The court will only do that if there's a very serious risk of harm to the child.

thanks sassa!! its what i thought it may be then...didnt want to get confused by googling it!

yes,mumblechum,he has a history since i left him. a huge history. but a report from probation and cafcass today has filled in what i thought may happen. my solicitor sent a covering leter warning me to read it with care as it would upset me.
