Anyone used Money Claim Online

Have used it to contest a company that didn't want to give me a refund for a wrongly sold item. They have partly admitted fault and offered some money but not the full amount. I want to know if I get back the £25 I paid to start the claim from the defendant or not. If so I will continue to persue for the full amount otherwise will probably just cut my losses now!
Thanks

If the company agrees they owe you the money and/or you eventually win the claim you will get your £25 back.

Thanks, do you know if this still applies if they are only partly admitting the claim ie they are deducting money for postage

Not sure what happens with partial admission and counter claim, which the postage is. AFAIK if you accept now they will have to pay your fee. If you take it further for the whole of the claim through the small claims track and you win they will have to pay your fee. If you lose the whole of the claim they will have to pay what they have admitted to but not sure of the fee.

There is a fair bit of info on the web about it. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Thanks, have had a search but can't find a specific answer, will just have to continue being on hold on Monday when I call their helpline!
