Basically an order has been mixed up and I've just received a huge box full of toys addressed to me but a receipt for someone else.

I've been honest and called up the manufacturer (well it was signed for and they would trace it) and it a REAL mission getting it taken away (the other person has my tiny order I'm told) - I'm having to go buy packing tape to do up the box - the box takes up alot of space in our tiny home and keeping ds away from it is very very hard and then I'm going to have to stay in to await parcelforce collection.

I also didn't find the manufacturer either very apologetic or helpful.

However, by rights as I have it - did I really need to call them to offer it back or could have kept them?

If so, I'm going to complain to customer services and ask them for a discount on my order (still yet not receieved) for the inconvenience and also cost of thick brown tape that I need to buy for someone elses box.

You can keep it if it's not been collected after 6 months.
