Last week i booked an adult weekend at Butlins for me and 3 friends. We booked dinner bed and breakfast and was quoted £329.78 and i paid £100 deposit. I recieved my invoice through the post which detailed this cost.
Tonight i logged online to pay the remainder £229.78 and was shocked to see the price of the total holiday had been reduced to £186.40 with a balance of £86.40 to pay!!!!
brilliant i thought BUT i decided to ring the sales team to double check.
I have just confirmed over the phone (actually rang twice and spoke to 2 different people but only paid after i spoke to the second person) that its definately the holiday i booked....3 nights standard apartment 4 adults dinner bed and breakfast and so i paid the remaining £86.40.
Im now really worried that they have made a mistake. As a customer i have phoned them and asked them to check and double check that its definately dinner bed and breakfast and confirmation email definately states what i booked.
i suppose my question is, now i have fully paid for this holiday and have the confirmation email to prove what i paid for can BUTLINS change my holiday and charge me the original price? I have the names and times of the people i spoke to who confirmed the details to me BUT i dont want to be arguing when i arrive at butlins!
