Jury Service - if you were a SAHM did you do it or did you get excused?

I've just been called for jury service
I'm currently a SAHM with a 3 yr old and 5 yr old (also 5 mths pg)

Looking at the archives it seems I may manage to excused due to small children/childcare issues

DH thinks I should do the jury service but I don't think he's really considered the childcare hassle

If you were in a similar situation when called for jury service did you do it or did you get excused?

I was called up three times but couldn't do it because of child care commitments. There was no hassle, I just said my reason and it was just accepted I couldn't do it.
