My xh is bigtime in breach of our maintenance arrangements. After years of 'putting up with it' I feel he has now gone too far and want to do all I can to get backlogs from this VERY wealthy x.
I have a form - Financial Statement - to complete. If I were still single it would be obvious what I need to complete, but I have since remarried so my question is

  1. Do I complete as a 'single/sep' mother? Or do I include all dh earnings and our current property? cos that,of course, is nothing to do with xh?

for example: Do I need to out in current worth of jewellery? this would include my engagement ring from current DH
thanks so much

Umm.. What type of maintenance? Spouse maintenance ends when the recipient remarries (s28 Matrimonial Causes Act 1973) and the courts have no jurisdiction to order child maintenance or a variation when the original agreement postdates March 2003.

Maintenance arrears are enforced like any other debt and you would normally register the order with the court and complete a sworn statement indicating how much you are claiming and how you arrived at that figure.
