Unmarried separated parents - one moves abroad

My friend has a 2.5 yo ds with a man she has never lived with (never married etc.). He has weekly visits with the LO which are informally arranged between the two of them. He is now moving abroad with work and she wants to find out what his rights are once he moves to another country in terms of access to their LO.

I wondered if anyone might be able to suggest which direction I should point her in.

TIA

Nothing legally changes. Assuming he has Parental Responsibility when the child lives with one parent they have the right to know and see the other parent.

Logistically it will be difficult to gradually increase contact to days, then staying contact overnights, weekends and holidays but where there is the will there is a way.
