Will a CRB check show cautions I received when I was a minor and an arrest where no further action was taken?

I have applied for a job where a CRB check is necessary, I'm not sure if it will be an ordinary one or an advanced, but on the application form I stated I had no convictions or cautions because I am under the impression that cautions received when you are under 18 are wiped from your record when you are over 18, am I right?

Will it show up an arrest where no further action was taken (wrong person in the wrong place at the time but the only person there hence the arrest) from when I was about 21?

Hello,

The arrest should not show if you were not charged with the act. The cautions may show depending on what they were for. Most cautions I believe are removed but for some crimes remain on record. There is a number you can contact on the form to question any specifics. Also, it does not mean you will not pass the CRB but all the findings are taken into account when making a final decision. If in doubt you are better to keep them in and have them dismissed rather than try to answer to them later.
