my son and i regularily play on neopets.com, which normally has strict rules re content. Yet recently ads have appeared for Heinekin, adult dating agencies with direct links - the site bans outside links for users making it safer for children to use.
i have complained to neopets.com and they are unresponsive. i have complained to the advertising standards authority for the adverts placed by heinekin and they have informed me it is outside their jurisdiction as although the website boasts a 26 million following, it is usa based.
so they can farm out illegal advertising in europe with no consequences? is it just me or is this wrong?
