My brother had been living with his girlfriend (for 4 years) and sadly he passed away in july . The whole sistuation has been made worse by the fact that he was in a coma for two weeks and she not only didnt tell us , but let him die before she informed the police to tell my family . It is still an on going situation and i have just recently fallen out with her , making it very difficult to approach or speak to her.
I would like some of my brother things to remember him by and i dont know how to go about this . My father applied for probate ,to sort out his money as he died without a will ,but what of his things . He didnt have much and i dont want to remove all his things ,because that,s all she has left of him , but surely me and my family could have a few of his things. How do i go about this ,i did ask my dad when he went to the probate offices to ask , but he said they only talked about money , he also , felt it was difficult as she insisted on going with him , which is one of the reasons we had had a fall out . This is so horrible and so very sad .
