Scotland - Parking Charge Notice by private company?

Whats the law on this, thought they weren't legally aloud to charge?

They're not allowed to clamp in Scotland.

This makes very interesting reading and not just for those in Scotland.

The forum on that site is brill - they helped me get out of an illegal towing fine.
