As the situation/people were recognised before, I won't go into too much detail, but a quick summary, we continued a service for one person when our business closed, at cost price. Then their lodger and lodger's mum got us to do it too.
The original person died and their 'friend' is on bail for 'things'.
I had to block this person, as they wouldn't accept we would no longer provide the service, and hassled us.
I thought it was over and was relaxed. I was woken in the early hours by the police. This person was with them - they couldn't say why, but said the person would tell me.
They said the person would no longer be allowed back to their mum's - but could not say why.
Apparently SS are going to try to find somewhere for them to stay, but they needed somewhere to go immediately and could I put them up?
I said no! It was early hours, my husband was asleep and needed to be up in 2.5 hours for work, 15yr old DD was asleep in bed.
More importantly we do not know this person, not in a go for a coffee way, or have a chat, etc. We saw her, briefly, maybe twice a year.
I don't know if saying no was right, but being from two homes in just over a month, is shocking.
The main thing is, I know (and see and chat to) my EVRI courier more, I wouldn't allow him to stay here if the police asked either, and he is very nice.
