Hi,
having to fill out the online probate form for DSis but have come a bit unstuck on one question. The will states that I am the executor but in the event that I predeceased DSis then her two adult children would be executors. As I haven’t predeceased her I have acted as sole executor. There is a question that asks ‘are there any other executors including deceased, renounced or power reserved?’ Do I record them here as power reserved or do they not count? I’m inclined to think they don’t count as they were named as executors IF I predeceased. However, if something happens to me and they need to take over administration of the estate the fact that they aren’t named at this point would that cause problems? Any probate solicitors out there that could clarify?
