Ex getting post

Toxic abusive relationship and now finalised divorced including all financial ties. Ex put a redirection on his post and has done for around 7 months.
Ive been handed my conveyancing and remortgaging documents the lawyer sent to me byt Royal mail cock up meant it went to him. Two bits of post went to him, a small letter he didnt open and a larger A4 woth thr lawyers ne stamped on it. He opened it, and signed a bit of it. What was meant to happen was for royal mail to send them to me, I pick out the one form he was meant to sign and send it to him. But instead, my whole remortgage details and mortgage offer got sent to him...his ow witnessed his signature so no doubt they both had a good read of my private documents!l such as bank details, numbers etc.
What makes it worse is ex works for royal mail so knows to careful with letters. Its freaked me out and made me worried what else has he opened and not told me about. I get very little post now. Ive changed my bank statements to online only.

Ive made a formal complaint to royal mail mentioning data breach etc but what else can I do. Hes really nasty at times and im not sure i have the head space to deal with him but im also worried moving forward about other documents he may have seen ( as well as the ow!)

Have you made it clear to Royal Mail that

  1. Your ex is an employee, and
  2. He has opened the mail addressed to you, and
  3. he has been abusive

Ive told them hes an abusive ex and opened it. Didnt say he was an employee tho. Hadnt considered that when I sent the form.

Well, add that to your complaint

I suggest its probably a separate issue anyway
