How can I find details of an arrest in London earlier this year?

Someone I know was arrested at a protest in London a few months ago. I know the exact date and I am pretty sure I know the location where they were arrested; I also know their full name and date of birth. They were held overnight and brought to court and released the next day (with some kind of promise not to do it again; I am not sure of the details there).

Would there be any publically-available information about this and, if so, how would I go about finding it?

If it matters, their arrest was in no way connected to any terrorist group.

I don't live in London so if I need to go somewhere in person then I can do that but not for a few months.

You can find some information about court appearances on courtserve (you have to register) but it’s limited and varies by area.

Thank you. I signed up but it doesn't look as though I can go back through lists. I think it was a magistrates court (possibly Highbury) and that doesn't even have archives.
