I was wondering how long the social workers take to response to a child father.
Basically on March the 5th my ex partner, my child father kicked me and my daughter out. The police got involved and assessed the situation and told me I was at high risk from him and that I was suffering from domestic and sexual abuse. However they said that he wasn't any danger to his daughter and that if he wanted to see her he had to go through the social workers.
The police did do a referral to the social workers as they classed our relationship as abusive ( towards me) and then socials rang me and did assessment. They then close the case down ( socials) as i had removed me and my daughter out of the environment and she wasn't seeing her father. So she was safe. The police has now taken the domestic/sexual abuse case to be reviewed by the crown prosecution to see if they are going to charge her father. However a mutual friend has commented to me and said that he is trying to see his daughter now and is waiting for th socials to contact him . I am wondering how long it takes for the social to contact him back as I think he is lying to our mutual friend as the social workers haven't contacted me to see if he can. I am wrong?
