So, I've just submitted an online divorce application but it says I need to serve the papers on my ex.
The online portal says the reason I need to serve them is because he is based abroad.
How do I even word such an email to him? He's unlikely to cooperate anyway. Sigh.
I ran away from him a few years ago due to his violence. I don't even feel comfortable to suddenly contact him and ask for him to sign the paperwork.
Has anyone else been in this position when a spouse lives abroad? How did you navigate it all?
