Tips on write position statement for court order variance?

My ex-husband is taking me back to court 2 yrs after he took me to court in the divorce. He wants to vary the maintenance order me and the kids and I rely on to nothing (it looks like a long con on his part - pretending he has no income and no chance of ever earning one when he clearly could). My solicitor has advised me on my position, but I'm afraid to wipe out my savings (no pension) to pay for representation at the FDR and final hearing (which he's said he wants) in case the judge finds in his favour and I get nothing.

We've already exchanged Forms E and are about to do updating disclosure. Apparently, because he's the applicant and I'm the respondent, the only work I'd have to do would be to prepare my Position Statement. I'm reasonably literate, but I haven't a clue what I should include/leave out. Anyone know of any good resources to help me write it? Templates, guidelines etc of what the court would consider appropriate and relevant or not?
Anyone else been through the same? Anything advice?
Many thanks!

There is an excel sheet of lots of the financial costings that I’ve seen twice from a friends lawyer and a mediator so it must be freely available, I would ask chat gpt to find it for you!

I don’t need financial costings information but thank you.

Is there spousal? Why did he not just give you notice and apply to the CSA after a year?

Ask ChatGPT to give you a format/template

ChatGPT is great for templates. Be careful with their advice, it's not always correct
